This is a unique F1 female that optimizes the advantages of our two Large White Lines. Fast 277 is derived by using a cross between the Fast Large White and A.D.N. Large White (Fast LW x A.D.N. LW) as the grandparent and then mating that grandparent to our Fast Landrace grandparent. This is a relatively new commercial parent for us but early numbers look promising.

Our Fast Large White purebred line is a product of a balanced selection program including prolificacy, growth, feed efficiency and excellent carcass traits as well as structural soundness. This line has been in development since 1982 and provides a balanced maternal female.

The A.D.N. Large White line comes from A.D.N. Genetics in France. Intense selection for number born per litter over many years gives this line excellent hyper-prolific traits.

Our Fast Landrace purebred line is known for strong, well-muscled, physically correct, sows with excellent litter size, growth and carcass traits. Intense selection on a balanced index over many generations has resulted in a sow that raises large litters of heavy pigs with excellent feeder barn performance.
